This collection is truly THE GREATEST HITS COLLECTION of all times. a must-have in your private library. The second greatest hits cd that is out now is more like a remix of some of their old stuff and a couple of newer song but this one's a mayor a** kicker this CD ROXX.
I feel that Aerosmith lost some of it's edge in the 90's. I feel that this was a flake off to Geffen records as they weren't able to get a lucrative deal out of them. I was not a fan of "Get A Grip", and I haven't given a chance for "Nine Lives". I hate half the songs on here like "Crying", "Crazy", "Blind Man", "Janie's Got A Gun". I found the songs from "Permanent Vacation" that are represented here are the best songs on the album, and "Living On The Edge" is just o.k. Otherwise this is a poor excuse for a greatest hits compilation.
He can hit a soprano note better than I can.I play this CD in my car all the time. I love this CD. I love all the songs on it; especially Cryin', Amazing, and What It Takes. Although I wasn't a big fan of the band during the 70s, (I can remember my sister playing Walk This Way at at high decibel) I've come to love them. I love Steven Tyler's voice. Those three really hit home with me.As many other reviews said, if you're not "into" Aerosmith already, try this CD. I guantee you'll love it too.
Big Ones by Aerosmith is a greatest hits album, this cd does not span the bands entire career of songs, just the ones from the '80s and early '90s. My fave song from this collection is Janie's Got A Gun, Steven Tyler's voice is so powerful and cool. Crazy, Love in an Elevator, Dude Looks Like a Lady, Cryin', Livin' on the Edge, and Amazin' are some of the best tracks here. Not a complete collection but good enough.
Best of the best of Aerosmith. One of my all time favorite CD's. They don't let you down. Good work-out CD too.
